No. Per banking regulations, cardholders are only allowed one active card and one active account (this does not apply to the virtual card, which is active at the same time as your physical card under the same account).
If you already have a plastic card when the metal card becomes available, existing plastic card users will be able to upgrade – so you can start with the plastic card now if you wish and easily upgrade later.
